Event Description

FREE EVENT!

"FRESH"; a new documentary that celebrates the farmers, thinkers and business people across America who are re-inventing our food system. Each has witnessed the rapid transformation of our agriculture into an industrial model, and confronted the consequences: food contamination, environmental pollution, depletion of natural resources, and morbid obesity. Forging healthier, sustainable alternatives, they offer a practical vision for a future of our food and our planet. Hosted by CPCC's Center for Sustainability and Slow Food Charlotte.
After the film, hear what local experts think from our panel discussion.
See Website for panel bios and more details.

I'm going to be down in Columbia for a NWF regional meeting but if I can make it back in time, Jay and I will be there. I encourage EVERYONE who eats to go to this. If you don't eat, don't bother....it doesn't apply to you.
