Event Description

EVEN IF YOU MISSED PART ONE, PLEASE JOIN US FOR PART TWO!!!
Landscape Designer and Habitat Steward, Mary Bures presents Part Two of our Creating a Backyard Wildlife Habitat Series. Site Analysis and Plant Selection: How to work with nature to create a wildlife habitat that is low maintenance, supports wildlife and meets the needs of you and your family while going beyond your greatest expectations in providing sensual awareness and awe and wonder where you once found work and hassle! Mary's interest in the outdoors and nature has always been a part of her life and she enjoys helping others see, appreciate, understand and value the beauty and wonder of our natural world and believes when someone understands and values something, they are better able to care for and protect it.

Mary is a graduate from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture/Ornamental Horticulture with an emphasis in landscape design. She has a lifelong passion for learning about and supporting all life – plants and animals. She owned and operated Custom Landscape and Design for six years in Palm Beach County Florida after having worked as the Manager of the Design and Installation division for a landscape design and maintenance firm in South Florida for two years. She currently works at Discovery Place in Charlotte.

As I look this over, this doesn't apply to me because I have no ground to landscape. The Part I I had attended at Wing Haven has helped me immensely and the birds are well attended to. Thanks, Carol. :-))
