Diane, I would like to invite you to participate in the planting of longleaf pine trees as outlined under the events calendar dated February 13, 2010. This is a Saturday outing and will involve a drive to Southern Pines, NC located in the Sandhills of NC. There will be a similar opportunity on the following two Saturdays Feb 20 and Feb 27. I am working to help organize as large of a turn-out as possible. This event is being sponsored by The Nature Conservancy of North Carolina and will give all participants a first hand look at the longleaf pine ecosystem and an opportunity to offset part of our carbon footprint. You can call me at (980) 875-8900 for more details.
Do you still have any room for the training on Saturday? My wife and I are coming from Elizabeth City Friday and stopping at several parks on the way. If so, please let us know the cost and directions. Thanks! Tim Aydlett, Pres.

Saw your comment on the Paddlers Page. If you would like to announce your events to the group, you can send a message to all members of just that group. You may already know this, but just wanted to make sure.
I have not fished any of the Structues as of yet. I still need to replace my fishing boat motor. Do you know anyone that has a 20 or 25 hp for sale. Thanks
In Tasmania about 5 1/2 years ago....I look even better today holding brown trout...just cut the hair shorter now and allowing a little gray to creep in (can not seem to control that function in life).
Diane, would anyone from your group have boats to loan for the Congaree trip? Check out the event page. Some folks are asking. I'm going to see if I can get some extras too.
Hi
THANKS
I live in Mathews.

Hi Diane,
Thanks, I sure will be looking forward to some outings and such.
I am sorry we couldn't make it to the Holiday Brunch. We are working
inspecting those trash trucks that go through the neighborhoods (making them safe for mother earth).
Yesterday, the boys made a semi-passive solar heater for the garage--yeah! Since, they need to make some repairs to some of our family of bird housing. Our 11 yr. old, is thinking about building a yurt design house for some of the chickadee's.
Well, hope to meet you soon.
