NC Wildlife Federation Networking Site

To advocate the conservation and enhancement of all wildlife and its habitat.

With apologies to the thousands of Cardinals and Towhees that live here, it is nice to have a unique visitor every now and then. This guy showed up at dawn and has stayed all day.

I put my initials in my birdbook each time I see a new bird and I put BY (backyard) for the birds that visit my backyard.

If there's a break in the rain this afternoon, I'll see if I can dig up some hibiscus and bring tonight.

You know I haven't done it formally. I think I can name them all and certainly know when first timers like Mr. Grosbeak show up. But it's a good idea. Maybe a photo log?
And yes, I'd like some Scarlet hibiscus.

Beautiful! Do you keep a list of all the birds that come thru your habitat?
