They are not real common. I have seen a few but never at a bird feeder, but there is a first for everything. They are real small birds. I have a red bellied wood pecker that sometimes feeds at my feeder.

If you put up another bird house close by, the nuthatches may use it. The Blue birds would not be using it because there would not be enough food for them. The nuthatches on the other hand feed different from the blue birds and may use it.

Usually beavers do not dig holes under drains. Muskrats will however dig holes. The beaver will sometimes dig holes in the banks of ponds to make dens. But probably not under a drain.

I have some experience with beavers. I would be glad to look at your situation. However, if there is a pond already there, a water leveler may not work.
