Great photo!

Used to have them very frequently in NY and Florida. I hear them here but do not see them too often. I have not seen them at a feeder. They are really neat little birds.

They are not real common. I have seen a few but never at a bird feeder, but there is a first for everything. They are real small birds. I have a red bellied wood pecker that sometimes feeds at my feeder. Steve Bennett

Leslie, I can't make the orienteering on the 16th. My daughter needs me to help her move.

No, that's not too late. If you are able to go and need directions to the park let me know. We need to be at the Visitor Center by 2:00. Hope all goes well with your surgery and I'll look forward to hearing from you next week.

Jim, I'm trying to get a head count on how many will attend the orienteering activity 5/16 so please let me know as soon as you can if you'll attend and if you'll bring someone with you. I may need to post the event as full if we have 15 total people signed up. Hope you can come! Leslie

Jim,
Regarding the CFL comments; all of those concerns were true of the initial market introduction of the product. The current stock has overcome the majority of those issues with the exception of turning them on and off for short periods of time.
Here are two pretty good information sites about CFLs.

Also thanks for the thumbs up on the picture -- I can't get it smaller. It takes up too much room.
