There is one we used to see in the Florida Everglades name a Wurdemans (spelling?). It was supposed to be a cross between a great blue and white. I have never seen any up here, but global warming?? Who knows.

Debbie, check the calendar date set for the Matthews Earth Day. It shows up as the event takes place on 2/27/09, which means it will go off the calendar after today? The date discussed in the text is correct, but the event posting date was somehow set wrong.

The CATO plant sale last spring was the same week as our Charlotte: Clean & Green - they were selling plants at both events. I'd like to hear about the free stuff you might get. What about plant signs, or an outdoor weather proof brochure holder?

thanks Debbie, Tell me where you saw that information? Did Theresa tell you that I will be doing a presentation for the OWL Habitat Steward program in March? The work goes on and my passion grows more each day. d

Sounds good. If I get a chance to come earlier, would that be ok, like maybe 5:30...not sure I can get out then, but let me know if that is ok.

It's better to send large files like pictures to me at : tfmorr@earthlink.net. I'll put them in a PPT session and work up a draft for you.
thanks again!

Debbie, I could drop by Thursday night after work, does that work for you? probably around 6:30 or so. For the FAITH site presentation was wondering if you had some pictures that could be put in a Powerpoint presentation. I could also meet up with youat the site (St Ann's Church?) and take some pics, and bring my laptop and put a draft together of the story you want to tell. A Saturday or Sunday would work for me, or I could also arrange a day off work if during the week works better for you, just need some notice. I really appreciate you spending the time on this, and also for the bird feeders!!

HI Debbie, yes, that would be wonderful as a handout, thank you for thinking of me. I met with Carol the other night and asked if she thought you would be interested in doing a presentation at the HS Training, on the FAITH site you built at your church, I think that would be of great interest to everyone, and a great program for the Sunday March 8 schedule. What do you think, I'd love to have you come and tell the story.
Thank you - have a great Sunday!

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed.

Questions: Do we want Billy Stiles to announce the clean-up at SLP for 9/27, or do we feel that we'll have too many people to make efficient use if we do? Can we get a load of free stuff from Compost Central? And will HAWK spring for a load of stuff we have to pay for? Do you want me to go with you to Kings so we can load up my car?
