Glad to see this group. I became a steward a couple of years ago and did not realize there was a group. So it is great.

Hey! I just discovered this Habitat Steward group! It's a great idea to have one. Being a Habitat Steward has been one of the most meaningful activities of my life. I so enjoy talking with people about the program. Last week, I spoke with a Rotary Club in Cornelius. Many of the members were Realtors and Builders. These are important people to reach with our conservation message. Thanks for this forum, Carol!

My cat of 14 years died recently. The cat lived most it's life outdoors and I am very sad to have lost her, however, since she passed I now have a bunny and chipmunk living in my backyard for the first time and have so much fun watching them eat the seed under the feeders. I do realize, however, it's not going to be much fun watching the bunny eat my plants!
