How fast does a hummingbird's heart beat?
How far can a hummingbird fly?
Where does a hummingbird nest?
How do we learn about our smallest birds?
Join Bill Hilton, of Hilton Pond Center for Piedmont Natural History, to hear about his amazing research on hummingbirds. See him capture, band and release hummingbirds. Learn how to attract these beautiful birds to your own backyard. This event, sponsored by HAWK, will take place between 8:30 and 12:30 on Saturday, August 22nd. Bring the whole family!
