Dr. Siefferman recently received the Conference of Southern Graduate Schools’ Achievement Award for New Scholars in the Life Sciences for her research on the Eastern Bluebird. The tour will take place at Appalachian State University’s Sustainable Development Farm, and the group will meet first in the parking lot of Earthfare at 7:45 am. Cost is $15 for members and $25 for non-members. All proceeds will benefit PACT, the local branch of the North Carolina Wildlife Federation. Sign up early as space is limited.
